Bernard Eumu the incumbent district Chairperson Ngora has been re-elected for another term in office after beating the other five rivals.


The District Returning Officer Ngora, Norah Lunyolo declared Eumu of Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party a winner after gathering 11,945 votes representing 45.93%.


Lunyolo says Emmanuel Okello of ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) flag bearer emerged the second after getting 10,514 votes which is 40.42 percent while Enos Ogwang an independent became the third with 2,379 votes which is 9.15 percent.


Chris Aru an independent got 510 which is 1.96%, Anthony Bernard Okanyum Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) was second last with 413 votes representing 1.59% while Grace Omoding became the last with only 248 votes representing 0.95%.


Eumu after being declared a winner hailed the people of Ngora for showing love, trust and hope in him by re-electing him for another term in office.
