This is the second week of the 2015 presidential campaigns with 8 candidates traversing the country to seek for support ahead of the 2016 elections.

By the end of last week, President Yoweri Museveni had covered 15 areas of Northern Uganda, Go Forward's Amaama Mbabazi had been to 4 areas within Central Uganda while FDC's Dr.Kizza Besigye had been to 10 areas within western Uganda and Buganda.

Other candidates include Maureen Kyalya and Joseph Mabirizi who covered 15 areas of Eastern Uganda with PDP's Abed Bwanika marginally covering 10 areas within the same region.

In all these areas, the voters tasked the candidates to address issues concerning unemployment, health, poor road networks, poverty and energy among other issues.

Today (November 18, 2015) as the candidates continue with their presidential bids, President Museveni is expected to present his case in Koboko and Yumbe, Dr. Kizza Besigye is expected in Kibuku and Pallisa while Amaama Mbabazi who had a change in program is expected in Kasese instead of Lira in addition to Prof. Venasius who will be hitting the campaign trail in Oyam and Dokolo.

Maureen Kyalya and Joseph Mabirizi are to plead their case to voters in Kampala and Wakiso districts, Dr. Abed Bwanika is expected in Alebtong and Otuke while Gen. Benon Biraaro will be speaking to voters in Kaliro and Luuka.

However, before all these candidates can step up to the podium to start addressing the voters, Vision Group has already found that the voters want to be addressed on issues concerning environment especially floods during this rainy season, improved road networks to facilitate their businesses and improvements in the education system among other things.
